Missing Mail Found.

The postwoman had it. She delivered our biometrics appointment today. We're scheduled for 3/31 but this Friday the 18th we are going to take our chances and drive to OKC and attempt to "walk in". The worst they can do is send us away. I did hear from another Oklahoma mom that in January she waited in the hallway at USCIS for 2 hours and she doesn't think she would have been helped but a worker going on break felt sorry for her. D wants to be there when USCIS opens at 7:30 am on Friday to see if that makes a difference.

Experienced APs advise no dish washing, cornhuskers lotion and gloves at night for 2 weeks to make it more likely for prints to be good in one trip. Apparently women really do "work our hands to the bone" because we are more likely to fail our prints than the guys.

Marla and I have been running the store ourselves since Jill is off recuperating from knee replacement. This week however gives us the best chance to run to OKC. Dalton can almost run the store by himself and he is on spring break. Awesome timing! So between him and Marla I expect everything will be fine at the store.

Wish us luck not being turned away.
