Until this point we had been almost sure he was still at the SWI but now we know he is with a foster family. Or he might be in a group foster family. The one I know of consisted of 12 boys and 3 caregivers that rotated spending the night. Great news. Either one means he is getting more individual care and learning about how a family or group works together.
His weight is on the growth charts at 25%. He looks very healthy and well fed in the pictures, no sign of institutional malnutrition. YEAH! His height is less than we would like to see but many Thalassemia kids can have slow growth as well as Chinese being on average less tall than in the US.
It's hard to believe but in a few short months he will be with us. His forever family. We are still on track for traveling in October. This past Friday was a busy day. Many waiting families received LOA and TA. Some of them have been waiting longer than average but some were surprised with super fast paperwork. One family received LOA in 14 days, the average is 51. That clears those desks at the CCAA for doing our paperwork. Let's hope faster than they have been recently.
We rec'd these adorable photos of Guangbo today.
Enjoy :)
His measures are : 93cm tall, 15kg weight, 49cm head, 54 cm chest and 20 teeth. He lives in a foster family and has his blood transfusion every month.

Just darling!!! He looks perfect to me:)
